Bonus stuff! I released a poetry manuscript last year, and put it up on my website. I'm including it here as well, because why not? It also seems to flow well with the larger gestalt of the work, in this case. Enjoy. Make sure to check out the liner notes as well.

Forest 01:54
I never remember how my father forgot me Was it on a freeway or in a tree A place I don't even know Welcome to the forest of desire

Nautilus 02:32
Never wanted To be on my own Been the same shit Since I was grown Make up for lost time Spit on a dime Streets are on fire Cops in behind But you and i know That's not how the quo goes So Looking to find Some peace of mind Spaceships in time Without the unkind Get on a trip Flexing my hips Let's all go slip Kissing our lips Boys optional (sometimes) Spiral around Up from the down Coursing so loud Far from the crowd Surfin' so easy Falling to pieces Forget what the priests say They don't say what we say Looking to find Some peace of mind Spaceships in time Without the unkind Get on a trip Flexing my hips Let's all go slip Kissing our lips Boys optional (sometimes) Chalk on the wild side Drifting in space-time Forget what the priests say They don't say what we say

Shipwrecked 02:00
Falling into a hole Crashing into a pole Drifting passage of time We're all shipwrecked but fine Where did all the humans go? I miss them Wandering the refuge of time A shrug for watching spies What's passed is just a sign Can't wait for Bovid 39

about

"No robots were harmed during the making of this EP"

This was recorded in my apartment during the winter 2020-21 shutdown...but first, a poem:

A sonnet in four lines
(With credit and love to Gwendolyn Brooks)

We transition
We position
We requisition
We escape

Making this album has been joyous hell. I was facing a huge songwriting block, then Covid hit, and "That's how the show goes, so". I originally was going to call it "The Heat Death of the Universe", which seemed both apt and over the top. Which should give you an idea of the mood I was in, at the time.

Also, to be honest? I have a strange relationship with singing. I can do it, especially if i keep my chops up, but...sighs, lol. It's work, just like a lot of things involved in making music. So if you hear the occasional "I can't tell if that's a vocal synth, pitch shifting or 'your real voice'", let's just say "yes" and be done with it. That all said, I'm proud of this EP, and hope y'all like it.

That's about it. Free all prisoners, build the society we actually want to live in. Besos, solidad

PS: I'm not actually waiting for "Bovid 39", which by the way, is not a thing. #themoreyouknow

Expecting artists to "for exposure" their work is bullshit, so make sure to check out their work, if you're interested and so inclined.
